At Kandou, we’re dedicated to discovering faster, smarter solutions across high-speed signal conditioning. This passion for innovation has allowed us to create our current suite of leading-edge semiconductor chip products and intellectual property.

This visionary product family – past, present, and future – is underpinned by four core technologies and knowledge bases.

First is Chord™ Signaling; Kandou’s low power, low latency multi-wire signaling technology – and the secret ingredient behind our Glasswing™ IP interconnect. The only USR SerDes IP proven in low-cost silicon, and capable of providing 1Tbps bandwidth at under one watt, Glasswing offers the power savings and reliability essential for networking, high-performance computing, AI and ML.

We also developed Forward Error Correction algorithms and blocks that help products, such as our Regli™ retimer for PCIe® 5.0 and CXL™ 2.0, deliver a vanishingly small 1E-12 error rate. Operating at sub-10 nanoseconds latency, Regli is one of the fastest PCIe retimers on the market and a system designer’s dream with class-leading bifurcation and on-chip diagnostics in three compact footprints.

Still on the error correction front, we have recently announced DIMMGuard. This new IP goes well beyond SECDED (Single Error Correction, Double Error Detection), delivering high speed quadruple error correction and detection by encoding data as it travels to the memory, and decoding it again on the way back. This allows DIMMGuard to spot and correct both bit and symbol errors at high speed – under 1.6ns.

Offering Quad Error Correction / Quad Error Detection capability it will open up advanced performance and reliability to a range of verticals, like freeing up bandwidth in automotive and giving consumer laptops with LPDDR the kind of error correction upgrade normally reserved for server rooms.

Next, there’s our Analog, Mixed-Signal and SerDes designs, which we employ in complex, high-rate semiconductors (including Phase Locked Loop and clocking circuits), and the company’s Repeater System Technology. All built with Swiss precision.

All of Kandou’s current product families have been designed and constructed from this foundation. Like the Swiss mountains, several of our products are named after, our solutions aim to be awe-inspiring and reach new heights within the industry.
